BACCO AND HERMANN-GRIMA HOME FORM EXCLUSIVE PARTNERSHIP
Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group to provide catering for all events at historical home
(NEW ORLEANS—December 8, 2009) Ralph Brennan’s BACCO and the Hermann-Grima House have partnered to offer traditional New Orleans dishes and BACCO specialties for special events in the historic home leader’s French Quarter courtyard. Both Hermann-Grima and Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group are known for delivering events and experiences steeped in New Orleans history, and this agreement marks a new phase of special events for the circa 1831 historic home and garden, allowing up to 250 guests to enjoy custom catered.
“We pursued this partnership because it matches so closely with our core values of delivering high quality food and hospitality in historic settings,” BACCO owner Ralph Brennan commented. “Both Red Fish Grill and BACCO and Ralph’s on the Park, are located in historic buildings, and this partnership gives us the opportunity to creatively expand our business to a new audience.”
With this partnership, BACCO Chef Chris Montero and sales manager Aimee Bernard work with clients to develop customized menus with signatures such as Lobster Ravioli, BACCO Shrimp and Grilled Garlic and Rosemary Pork Tenderloin; as well as New Orleans favorites, Seafood Gumbo, Louisiana Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and fresh Gulf fish paired with seasonal seafood.
“For centuries, the Hermann-Grima courtyard was a place of both physical and psychological relief from the sounds, smells and heat of the streets of the French Quarter,” said executive director Mamie Gasperecz. “Today, the richly planted courtyard provides a spectacular setting for unforgettable special events, and our partnership with BACCO makes that experience even more spectacular.”
Built in 1831, the Hermann-Grima House is one of the most significant residences in New Orleans. The Handsome Federal Mansion and courtyard garden boast the only horse stable and functional 1830’s outdoor hearth kitchen in the French Quarter.
